Jessica Ennis is the pride of Great Britain. Without a doubt, she has more pressure on her than any other Olympian. She is running for the pride of great Britain, the home of this 2012 Olympic games. She is photogenic and beloved and people really want her to succeed.

But more than that, the pressure is on Ennis in this Olympics for the simple reason that she is -assumed- to have won the event already. You see Ennis has be so dominant in her sport that she has not lost a single match.  Not even one bad day in the past 3 years.  Yes she has won it all since 2009.  While there is no reason to suspect that this will change any time soon, the pressure is on Ennis, who simply cannot have the Olympics be the first time that she has failed in the past 3 years.
